In de VS is nu zelfmedicatie door wiet enorm in zwang. Het is diep triest dat ik het rijkste land ter wereld de mensen terug moeten naar zelfmedicatie omdat ze de hulp door artsen niet meer kunnen betalen.
Aan de andere kant lijkt het ook een signaal dat de meute zo veel kracht had dat de medicijnenindustrie dit proces niet langer kon tegenhouden.
Als u de folders en kwartaalverslagen van Tesla bekijkt, dan zult u constateren dat ze erg vol zijn van de batterij technieken die ze gebruiken. In Tesla auto’s zitten volgens Tesla de beste batterijen die er in de wereld verkrijgbaar zijn.

Our March 2018 Elliott Wave Financial Forecast showed this chart and said:
Over the last 20 years, [a University of Michigan] poll asked the following question every month: “Compared to five years ago, do you think the chances that you will have a comfortable retirement have gone up, gone down or remained about the same?” Considering that the line between a better and worse retirement is a reading of 100, consumers have been mostly glum about their retirement prospects since the record optimistic extreme of 123 in November 2000…. After stocks had been rising for five years… the survey’s results pushed to a high of 105 in February 2007…. The chart shows retirees’ negative responses as stocks crashed in 2008 and early 2009….
In March of 2017, retirees finally capitulated once again to the uptrend in share prices by registering a response of 104…. Last month, the survey even pushed to a 17-year extreme of 109.
A big reason why the hopes of retirees may be sorely misplaced is that the shortfall in local and state pensions is a staggering $4 trillion, according to Moody’s Investors Service.

Many retirement funds could face insolvency…
As the article notes, a fund covering Chicago municipal employees had less than 30% of what it needed in fiscal year 2017. New Jersey’s pension system for state workers is so underfunded that it could go broke in 12 years, according to a Pew Charitable Trusts study.
But, in EWI’s view, many public pension systems may become insolvent long before then.
In fact, this is already happening with retirement-age individuals.
On Aug. 5, The New York Times reported:
The rate of people 65 and older filing for bankruptcy is three times what it was in 1991.
With pension funds heavily invested in risk-assets like stocks, imagine the scenario during the next financial downturn.

De cijfers van Berkshire Hathaway, het bedrijf van Warren Buffett, waren beter dan verwacht. De omzet in het tweede kwartaal was 62,2 miljard dollar. Dat was maar liefst 261 miljoen meer dan verwacht… (Op dat bedrag een druppel, maar zo wordt het wel door de media gebracht. De winst was bijna 7 miljard. Op alle onderdelen draaide Berkshire beter dan een jaar geleden. Het bedrijf heeft bijna 58 miljard dollar contant in kas.
De bij Heineken te overwinnen weerstand lag bij 91 euro per aandeel en na de vorige analyse is de koers er boven gekomen. Helaas echter dook de koers ook weer omlaag. Nam u positie in en zit u er nog in, dan is de stop loss op dit moment 86,5 euro per aandeel. Dat is de onderkant van de tradingrange.
Onder de 30 niet long gaan… Het aandeel is één dag boven de 30 gesloten, maar keerde daarna weer onder dan niveau terug. Nu staan we tussen de 28,5 en 29. Afblijven onder de 30 en pas de dag na doorbreking van de 30 kijken of een positie nog in te nemen is. De koers moet dan om 10:00 uur nog altijd boven de 30 staan.
Wie naar aanleiding van de vorige analyse boven de 25,4 is ingestapt, die kan de stop loss nu veranderen in een take profit op 26,26 euro per aandeel. Laat de take profit meelopen met een koers van één euro onder de hoogste slotstand zodra de koers een euro boven 26,26 gesloten is.
Bij de DAX index is het heel helder. De grafiek geeft maar één signaal en dat is ‘afblijven’.
De doorbraak is een feit, maar de test van die doorbraak ook en de uitkomst van die test, die is als drie dagen een grote twijfel. Gisteren de derde Doji op rij in de grafiek. Beleggers wachten het even af. Dat zou u dus ook moeten doen.
